ANTHRAX To Film Video For 'What Doesn't Die'
September 26, 2003ANTHRAX will be shooting a video for the track "What Doesn't Die" in early November with director Brian Posehn. "I won't give away any details because if I do some other band will steal our idea," guitarist Scott Ian writes in the latest installment of his online diary. "It will be intense." The band are also expected to make an appearance on NBC's "Last Call With Carson Daly" next month. More information will be available soon.
Regarding ANTHRAX's upcoming touring activities, Ian says, "We're going out next month on an East Coast run. I'm excited to play in Myrtle Beach and some of the other spots we've never been to. We're playing at a place called Russell's in Bangor, Maine on October 12. As you all know I'm a huge Stephen King fan. My dream would be for him to come to the show and jam 'Whole Lotta Rosie' with us. I know he plays guitar and that he loves AC/DC, so why not? Is it so farfetched? Am I just a hopeless fan-boy? We'll see. Orlando should be killer. The show we did there with PRIEST was great. And we get to go and ride the Tower Of Terror!! We've never been to Farmingdale on Long Island. I expect it to be crazy. Birch Hill better be as good as last time. The Jersey crowd always kicks ass. Let's finally destroy the place!! We plan on busting out some really rare songs at some of these shows, especially if we've already played in the area on this tour. Expect the unexpected. Montreal should be great. Our show with MOTORHEAD there was insane. Puerto Rico is another place we've never been to. I hear it's crazy. I want to see it. Represent Puerto Rico! I wanna see insanity! We've got a bunch of stuff in the works after that including another U.S. tour in Nov/Dec. The touring will continue next year as well with trips to South America, Mexico, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, more Europe and more U.S. We're going to keep working this record because it absolutely fucking deserves it. There are a lot of other things in the works as well that I can't divulge."
